MASCOUTAH, Ill. - The MidAmerica St. Louis Airport celebrated the grand opening of a $31 million terminal Tuesday. The terminal was expanded to support trends of passenger growth. Cellphone video captured the moment fists started flying in an apparent road-rage incident along a busy thoroughfare in Granada Hills on Tuesday. Alessandra Forte and her daughters were in their car when they came up to the intersection at Chatsworth Street and Genesta Avenue at around 3:30 p.m. Video shows a white Dodge pickup truck, along with a motorcycle laying in the road and blocking the middle lanes, but it was the fight between the drivers that halted traffic. “I was like, ‘Oh my God, this is really happening, it’s happening,’” Forte told KTLA. “We got a little scared because you don’t know what these people are going to pull out. A female was fatally stabbed in the Hyde Park neighborhood of Los Angeles Tuesday night. Investigators believe the stabbing occurred around 8:20 p.m. in the 5700 block of 7th Avenue. Responding officers discovered a female had been stabbed multiple times inside a home, a Los Angeles Police Department spokesperson confirmed. The unidentified victim was pronounced dead at the scene. A 55-year-old man was taken into custody following the incident. Kirsten Powell returned to her role as Monte Sereno’s city attorney this month after a four-year break.She previously held the job from 2004 to 2019, also working as the city attorney for Scotts Valley and as counsel for West Valley Solid Waste Management Authority and West Valley Clean Water Authority.Powell said she had three kids in school and resigned from her role in Monte Sereno to spend more time with her family.“There was a lot going on, and it was a lot to handle.
